Chamber Projects
Each year, the Greater Goldendale Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors convenes to deliberate on innovative project ideas, organizational improvements, and various other initiatives. As part of our ongoing commitment to community and economic development, we are currently formulating a comprehensive strategic plan, which is scheduled for release at the end of 2024.
Goldendale Creative District
We are excited to announce that we are taking the initial steps to have Goldendale recognized as a Creative District. This initiative, launched by the Chamber’s Art at the Heart of Goldendale Committee—founded by Kathy Baldwin and Felcia Gray—aims to foster creativity and cultural enrichment in our community.
The establishment of a Creative District will not only enhance our local culture but also stimulate our economy by attracting artists, visitors, and businesses. This endeavor represents a significant milestone in our ongoing efforts to support and celebrate the arts in Goldendale.

Business Incubator
The new City of Goldendale Business Incubator facility is now operational, housing two growing local businesses. This 4,000 square foot building, constructed by the City of Goldendale in the spring of 2023, is divided into two separate workspaces suitable for offices, warehouse, or light manufacturing. The Chamber of Commerce has played a crucial role in the execution of this program by organizing small business workshops and providing ongoing support to the incubator’s tenants.
